GLOW: God Loves Our World
The light shines

The United States has always been a nation to which people in
need turn for help.
Not long ago, a poor Christian lady in Iasi, eastern Romania,
pleaded for the Foundation's help when her husband was suffering
with cancer. We shipped urgent medical supplies, and although
he later died at only 53 years old, our efforts allowed him to
end his days free from pain.
When he died, Mrs. Buzatu was faced with burying her husband
in a paupers' grave. Yet thanks to your help, the Foundation
sent a pastor and a few hundred dollars to pay for a Christian
burial in his home village. We then helped the family pay the
government's death taxes and are now trying to help them to support
themselves.
This effort inspired
the Foundation to open GLOW God Loves Our World our
new ministry which provides emergency assistance to people like
Mrs. Buzatu and other poor families in urgent need.
Here in the USA, the Foundation has recently provided medications
for elderly people facing sudden illness, assisted homeless families
and helped teens facing the death of parents and eviction. We
have helped teenagers on the brink of suicide.
We've provided assistance with rent payments, phone bills, doctors'
bills, medications, natural healing and even hot meals. While
the Foundation cannot help everyone in need, we try to ensure
that nobody is ever turned away without help.
As the Foundation tries
to show God's love and care to those in distress, a few dollars
go a very long way. Money isn't everything, though we obviously
need to some money to function effectively.
